How to propose like a baus!

I saw this video last year and i was majorly tripped.

This had me cheesing the whole way through. What a nice way to incorporate friends and family. I love how much thought went into it. Loved it!!!

Find proposal videos here. Guys, you can thank me later.

Proposals i would hate- Anything that involves a roomful of strangers looking at me. I don't enjoy that kind of attention.

Perfect proposal? I haven't put much thought into it but i would like it to be private and romantic and if there have to be other people involved, then it would be family. Definitely no restaurant proposals or anything public like that and no "bed scene" proposal. How u want take tell that story?

What's your idea of a perfect proposal and if you are already married, how were u proposed to? Did you like it or hate it.

I heard they are not big on engagement rings in Nigeria, how true is that?

Why am i awake, with a headache, blogging at 2.49am? That is a serious question.

  1. I saw one very epic proposal that had me in tears some years ago. I don't know the couple, it was just something i stumbled across. It was sooooooo beautiful. I've been trying to find the link to the video again for YEARS and i just found tonight! *dancing azonto*

As for me, i don't really have any preference so long as the proposal is meaningful to us as a couple.

    1. Oh, i have seen some where the girl said no or walked away. The last one i saw, he proposed at the food court of a mall, and had this guy play her a song, everyone gathered, he got on his knees, asked....she just looked like she was about to cry and walked away. It was so funny.

    1. Doll, doll! Thanks for answering my question. My friend told me his sister in Nigeria got engaged with no ring to show for it and he's not the only one i've heard that from.

    2. yes, o! at least her sister is lucky she got proposed to. I know people that don't have a proposal story, you date, have an understanding and one day, he says, lets pick a date na! or i'm coming to see your dad this weekend o!

I am not sure how I want to be proposed to yet. I don't like the whole strangers effect thing too. I am also not big on the whole ring thing either. I want a charm bracelet or something. Must it be a ring?...*scrunching up nose*
