Half a million dollars on her wedding

The daughter of former adviser to GEJ on petroleum matters.. Dr. Egbogah...

My father should have gone into politics!!!!

P.S. With all that money she couldn't fix her hair? Anyway, let me go and face the one that concerns me.

Thanks Neka for the link to the 2nd video. I'm still wondering why no one told her to change that hair to something more flattering on her.

  1. Oh I remember watching this episode! I see where our oil money is going to. Had no idea then who her dad was.

Sidebar: I object very loudly to that weave color for her skin tone. Whyyyyyyy do girls do this?!?!?! If you don't have Beyonce's or Keri Hilson's skin color, sorry, but you can't rock a blonde weave! Omg!

Anyway, I digress. That is an obscene amount of money to spend on a one-day wedding, in my opinion, but hey, what do I know? I'm not rich... Maybe if I were I wouldn't think so.

  5. 17k and 10k budget for dresses with a cheap ass weave?!? C'mon son! Whats even the point of spending that kind of money on something you'll only wear once for a few hours? Some people...

I won't even go into how her parents got that half mil to spend on the wedding.

  6. gd am.not everybody in govt is a thief!we shd stop ds idea of automatically labellin people who hv been and are in govt as crooks.if my memory serves me ryt,obj had a knack 4 workn wt only professionals in hs govt as ministers.most of these pple were already succesfull and pretty much establishd professionals b4 d came into office.mind u,i'v had d priviledge of being in d circle of an ex-minister who said categorically dat he made more money workn 4 himself than when in govt. Ministerial appointees, esp those 4m d south r usually serious professionals who sacrifice their careers 2 serve 9ja.

  9. Hmmm, I would really like to say 'kai, see where our money is all going' but the truth is that we can't really say that it is the case here.

  10. Personally, I think spending so much money on a dress or a wedding is ridiculous but it is not my money. And no I don't know her, her husband, or her parents, and how they made their money.

  13. The dresses are hideous, her hair is hideous. Like wtf? Half a million dollars on a wedding? I'm done with this country for real. Shows you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. All that money and she's still busted AF.

  14. These clips are something else! If you thought the first was ott, the second is even more extra. The opening soundtrack alone had me SMH. Since I also don't know how they made their money i won't even touch that.

  15. I remember seeing this episode on TV...... I had my objections then and I still have them now. This is why we need transparency in Nigeria, politicians should declare their net worth before taking on official roles.
I don't think any hard working entrepreneur, who isn't nationally recognized as a billionaire would spend half a million dollars on a wedding. Needless to say, the guy was living in Calgary Alberta Canada while he was in that position, how do you advice on Nigeria matters from Canada.
We do not need to attack anyone, but we need to question the culture. IF you hold a public office, you are ACCOUNTABLE to the public, for your actions and those of your immediate family members. If you are a public servant and you have spent in a day what you shouldn't officially make in salary in 8years, the people have the right to ask question. The culture of oppression, where politician oppress us with our own money should be questioned.

On her hair, different strokes for different folks. She must like it to wear it I guess, money can never buy good taste. Then again, good taste is subjective.

  16. Her comment at 1.33 'there are no limits with parents' gets my goat joo.
I'm with 9jafoodie. Parents who worked hard for their money dont throw it away like that joo. unless she is the only child/daughter.
