So someone just told me that i can't lose weight. I love challenges. My weight loss effort so far has solely been in my head since July 2009, so now that i have been challenged, it's on. Thank God i ate all the cheesecake i wanted this week. The cheesecake don finish so no more temptation, let's do this. I only need to lose 8 lbs to no longer be considered overweight and 20lbs to be at my ideal weight. I'm not playing anymore. All those midnight craving for yogurt and pita chips have officially ended. Water, u r now my best friend. I refuse to go back to school in August and be one of the biggest chics in school at 158lbs. All those girls are a size freaking 0 and they work out every day. It's ridiculous.

Starting weight is 158lbs. Will update every week to track my progress. Hopefully i don't die on the elliptical in my weight loss quest. I could only do 2 mins yesterday. LOL. I am more than a mess.

  1. Oooh, I know how we can make this more fun.

I challenge you to a weight loss competition.

First to hit target weight wins.

We'll update with pictures of our scales so we know noone is cheating.

Plus the fact that we're competing against each other will give us additional motivation not so?

Not to mention the entertainment value and the free blog posts when you can't think of anything else to blog about.

    Whaddya say?

  2. seeing is believing.. I can't believe you said you ate all the cheesecake so that you don't crave for more thereby adding more weight(hope you know that)its a difficult fight but with determination, you'd get there.
I need your advice on my post.. this time. I can't advice since I'm involved.. so please grace my place with your presence..thanks..

  3. Wow...The last time i tried i fell off the treadmill.
    Wishing you all the best!!!

  4. My school is doing our version of "the biggest loser"...$300 is up for grabs! I have lost 6lbs so far. What has worked for me is not eating after 7:30/8:00pm. Just drink water! And I have stopped eating anything white/overly sweet! Brown rice, wheat bread. I include protein in every meal and I hit the gym 3-4/week! Good luck, the first week is hard but once you start seeing results it gets addictive!

  5. Thanks guys. Sugabelly it's on. What's ur email address? You can email me at Let's discuss specifics.

  6. LOL...i hate working out..i want to gain a size zero and i really hate it..i want my husband to have something to hold on to.

  7. Goodluck, I will start my regime in March, touch wood. I have so slacked, been resting since xmas.
