Lunch

This is what poor people have for lunch. Blend Watermelon, frozen strawberries and half a banana. Tastes pretty good too. When i have spinach, i usually throw some in there.
Just got done with RPM (Anesthesia) today. The exam was bloody, but i forgive them because they know not what they do. Starting Inpatient Peds next week which is why i have the poll on the upper left corner of this blog. Be a good citizen paticipate. Stand and be counted. Vote!

Seriously, i heard the hours are crazy and i'm trying to figure out a game plan here. I've always taken showers when i wake up in the morning, but i know people who take showers only at night and i am starting to wonder if that's a good idea, that way i can sleep a little longer and just get up and go. What do you think? I don't usually shower twice a day. I don't go to the farm neither do i sweat that much, but sometimes it's necessary and i know a lot of people do things out of habit. I guess i don't have problems in life. lol.

Hey to all my new subscribers (never liked the word followers). Thanks for subscribing. If you are a blogger and want your blog listed on my blog list, leave a comment and i'll hook you up. We all know this blog is a hot spot for blog hopping. I see u guys :)

I got a couple comments from Nollywood reinvented (Hey, girl!) and they showed up in my email but i never saw them on the blog and they weren't deleted either (not that they were bad comments). I'm just wondering what's wrong with blogger.

  2. LOL at "I don't go to the farm neither do I sweat that much"
It makes your sleep nicer when you bath at night, and you definitely want to have one in the morning to feel fresh during the day.
That is such a healthy cup right there. I juice and blend a lot too

  3. I'll say showers in the evening and wipes in the morning.

I also noticed Nolly's comments in my spam folder, don't know what's up with blogger, it's taking it's comment filtering too serious. Go to comments in your dashboard, click on it and the dropdown will reveal spam comments. You can then unspam the genuine comments.

  5. I am too lazy for night baths, so I am a morning bath person.
I had an Ugandan flat-mate who only had his bath at night and wipe in the morning...in his words, he does not sweat or do any strenuous work at night. So which ever works for you, go for it.

  6. It's nice to shower at night for a good night's sleep, and great to shower in the morning to really wake you up (and also to clean the body of course!). I think you should try night time showers and morning 'top & tail' (haha, that's what my Mummy used to call them). Or just jump into the shower and rinse your entire body and jump out, 2 minutes max.

I'm in a different situation though: I'm a Fitness Instructor/Trainer and most mornings I leave home without taking a shower (I shower at night) but after morning classes that I actually workout (eg a spin class), I HAVE to shower. If I don't break a sweat that morning, I don't shower until later in the day or at night.

I'm going to try that shake, your watermelon shake is the second I've seen in a week.

  9. I'm an AM shower person cuz I need that quick spray to wake me up, even if it's "rinse & out". I also love night showers for a good night sleep. So when I have a very "sick-viral" day at work like in the ED or I'm not too lazy I sneak in a night shower.

For you though, I Agree with the first commenter. Save night showers for OB and Surgery when you have to get there at 5:00am. I think you can still shower in am for peds. I'm a 3rd year peds resident and even in my toughest rotations PICU, I still have time to shower in the am. I will advise you to shower when you get back from work if you feel a kid has sneezed in your face. Peds is the one rotation most medical students get sick on.

by the way, feel free to hook me up. :-)
