Turban

Ok..call me a hater if you like. I don't know u so it really doesn't matter but there's nothing i hate more than a TREND! It just has this follow-follow smell that i can't stand. Everybody and their mama is now tying a turban. Why? People are so unoriginal. Must you copy everything. What's the big deal about tying a scarf with a big bump in the front anyway? Remember when trying a scarf on your neck facing forward was the thing to do? EVERYBODY did and over did it. It was so annoying. Anyway, i've never been one for trends or anything that makes me look like everyone else. I even went through a no jeans wearing phase, but jeans are a staple so they don't count. It's the skinny jeans and ballet flat thing now. Even people who have absolutely no business wearing skinny jeans are wearing skinny jeans. Sigh! I wonder what's next.

That's why i like people who truly have style. Being fashionable doesn't make you stylish.

Rant over. Back to the books.

  2. I was going to do a post about this and how stupid Nigerians are for copying it.

This is a trend that WE originated and now we're acting like the mindless sheep and following it.

Even more annoying are the idiot Nigerians that now refer to gele and ichafu as "headwraps"

  3. Hahaha. I thought i was the only one who wasn't into the whole 'turban' movement. As for flats and skinny jeans, people have been wearing them for a couple years now, i feel like it has moved from being a trend to becoming a wardrobe staple.

  6. i personally feel everyone should wear whatever they like. I wont burn all my skinny jeans and never wear a turban jst so no-one wld accuse me of sheepishly following trends. In the same way, i wont wear something simply because it's the IN thing now. We shld all wear whatever rocks our boat whether it's in fashion or not.

As for this turban movement....it's interesting, that the scarf i have been tying long since is now a trend, however i shall keep rocking them as is.
Oh and you don't want to hear the ridunkulous prices they sell these things for now o.
