Funniest thing i have watched in a minute!

Don't be a learner like my bloggie BFF. Watch the video and read the post! Don't just watch the video. Papi, i am waiting for your questions, me and you both know you are an amebo. lol.

Okay mis amigos, I have decided to take a hiatus from blogging, probably not for too long but one is necessary at this time. My next post is going to be about bad boys and make up sex (Chinasing, I promise :) The reason i haven't put up that post is because 99.9% of my posts are spontaneous. I never plan my posts and having to sit down and write a planned post is like work for me and i don't like work. I think i have enough of it at the moment, but since i whetted your appetites, i have to deliver.

In the meanwhile, you can ask me whatever questions you want to get answered. I know our soon to be bride, Beautiful is dying to know how long i have been on this earth. Whatever you want to know, ask me. I feel like answering questions when i come back. If you don't want to know anything, that's fine too. I will ask myself questions when i get back.

BTW: Myne and Madam Eya, you guys should work on how you want to be hooking me up with food o. No be to post picture make person dey hungry be the thing. E no fair o.

I just discovered Eya's blog last week or 2 weeks ago, don't remember again. Someone said something about her advertising her blog on Linda Ikeji and asked Linda why she should allow that. After doing power ranger for her, i decided to check out her blog. I love it for many reasons, but mostly because i see God's hand at work. Trust me, i see things. LOL.  I am a firm believer that when God wants to bless you, he will find something you least expect and bless you with it. So many cooking blogs around with better quality pictures and presentations, yet i don't think they have as much readership as that blog. Anyway, let me go and read my book.

Be good, be safe. Send positive thoughts my way. God bless you all, muah muah muah.

Black and Pink

Why is it that any study area is always cold? It's almost like they still put on the AC in winter.  I was freezing to death while trying to study yesterday and was like, you know what, some fingerless gloves would be a blessing. Got on Amazon, ordered them and they came today. Happy, happy, happy. Plus they are my favorite color, although for $15 I think they r expensive, but whatchugon do?

You like? I think I will get one for my sister cos she likes it.

Never give up and other stories on Valentine's day

  1.  As long as you are alive, anything is possible. The only valid excuse you have to give up is if you are dead. As long as you are alive (and healthy and free) you have the choice to keep trying until you finally succeed.
  2. Be realistic. The chance of mastering something the first time you do it is almost non-existent. Everything takes time to learn and you will make mistakes. Learn from them.
  3. You are strong. You are stronger than you think. One little setback is not enough to stop you from achieving your goals. Neither are 10 or 100 or 1000 setbacks.
  4. Prove yourself. You don’t want to be known as someone that is weak and gives up. Go out there and prove yourself to the world and to yourself. You CAN and WILL achieve what you set out to do. The only time you fail is when you give up.
  5.  Believe in your dreams. Don’t sell yourself short. In life there are going to be many people who will try to bring you down and tell you what you want to achieve is not possible.
  6. Your family and friends. Let the people you love and who mean the world to you be your inspiration to persist and persevere. Maybe you need to try a different angle, study more or practice more but don’t give up!
  7. There are people worse-off. Right now there are many people who are in a worse situation and environment than you are. Are you thinking about giving up running 5 miles a week? Think about the people who are unable to even walk and how much they would give to be able to run 5 miles every day.
  8. You deserve to be happy. Don’t ever let anybody tell you otherwise. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success. Keep that mindset and never give up until you reach your destination!
  9. Inspire others. Be an inspiration to others by refusing to give up. Who knows what someone else can achieve because you never gave up and in turn inspired them not to give up.
  10.  You are so close. Often when you feel like you want to give up you are so close to making a huge breakthrough. You are just a heartbeat away from success.

I sincerely hope no one is going to waste time feeling bad that they are single. Valentine's day is about showing love and you can't say you have no one to show love to when you have yourself. If it's such a big deal to you, instead of feeling sorry for yourself, use this as an opportunity to pamper yourself. Yes, it would be nice to have someone do that for you, but if that's not your story, whatchugon do?

P.S This is my 800th post. Jah jehovah armageddon. I don try. Pat on the back.

Unequally yoked

The bible says "Do not be unequally yoked......"  Na there i know reach. I don't even know what book it is, but i am sure google will be nice enough to tell me if i cared enough to ask. I saw a post recently on Myne about a girl wondering if she should marry a non-christian (if i remember correctly). I understand that while religion might not be a deal breaker for me, it might be for someone else. I'm at the point in my life where i can't even be bothered with how someone else is choosing to live their lives. Do you, boo.

But sometimes sha, my mouth cannot just keep quiet. I have to say something. How in this day and age, people are still going to be having issues with Catholic vs Baptist? I used God to beg my friend today o. If she wasn't my personal person, that's how i would have just been looking at her. I told her last last, she should just learn how to sing her hymns slower and she was laughing. I've been to both Catholic and Baptist Church's and na the same thing except i felt the baptist church was even more slower and boring than the Catholic church (but this was way back when i was in boarding school in one village like that). My boarding school was a Catholic school and we had a convent inside the school and this my friend would drag me there. Pray in front of Mary, kiss Mary's statue, kneel down, stand up, pray the rosary, sing hymn with words i don't know or understand. Too much going on, men. I can never be a part of that. Regular pentecostal church dey hard me, not to talk of that one.  Like i said, to each their own. My sister married and became a catholic, i thought she was crazy, not like i said anything to her or anything but that's what she wanted to do with her life and she's okay with it. If she's happy, I'm happy.

But to say you don't want to date/marry someone because you are not of the same Christian denomination, is just absolutely crazy to me. Abi, no be the same Jesus? I'm not understanding. If it was Pentecostal vs Catholic now, maybe i can understand, a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit, but Catholic vs Baptist. Jesus H. Christ, please come down and save your children because they are focusing on the wrong things.

I am thankful i am not bound by the shackles of religion. Take that to mean whatever you wish, that's not my problem. What matters is what is in my head and my heart. After all, when this life is over, there are only 4 places we could possibly end up in. Yes, 4, not 2 or 3.

Dust to dust
Ashes to ashes

Enjoy the rest of your week people.

Watch your back with frenemies.

If your spirit is not okay with it, it's probably not right.

Trust your intuition and your subconscious. It will tell you the answer most of the time even if it can't tell you why.

.......and the rambling ends now.

Good night.

My Husband was a Virgin = Boring Sex

 I found this on Slate

Question

In my college years, I was sexually adventurous, to say the least. In my later 20s, I found my way back to my church, and decided to start fresh, and wait until marriage. I met my now husband in my church singles' group, and we have been married for just over a year now. He knows nothing of my sexual past, I didn't feel it was necessarily his business, and he never asked. However, he was a virgin when we married, and there is the problem. He is really lousy in bed. I've tried to suggest ideas to spice things up, but he looks confused when I do. Also, when I've made certain suggestions as to say, positions, he asks how I'd even think of something like that, so I told him I'd read about it online, and he got worried I'd seen porn! I don't want to tell him about my past, but I don't really want to spend the rest of my life in missionary, when there are so many other options. If I reveal too much knowledge about sexual acts we haven't done, I'm pretty sure he'll decide I was "used goods" and he shouldn't have married me—are there other ways I could drop a hint, without revealing too much about my own past?

Answer

I'll never understand people who don't go for a test drive before purchasing the vehicle. When you say he knows nothing of your past, I don't know if you mean he doesn't know the details or he thought like himself, you had no sexual past. If the latter then you married under false pretenses. This problem goes beyond him being inexperienced; he's not interested in becoming experienced. So you two may have a fundamental mismatch. You need some honesty in this marriage. Without going into numbers or details (and don't be bullied into revealing them) you tell him you know about sex because you've had it. You say your experience could make your marriage much more exciting and you want to explore sexually with him. If he thinks you are damaged goods, then what a favor he'll be doing you by ending it now.

What do you guys think of both the question and the answer? I did not write either. The link to the original is at the top. Don't want to be accused of plagiarism cos some people are quick to do that.

Who is responsible for infertility?

In my initial post, i had said the number one reason marriages end is lack of sex or having a poor sex life. However, i got some clarification today so of course i am extending it to you guys. That reason is valid for men but not for women. The number one reason women leave their marriages is finances.
Main reason for sex issues in marriages/relationships, is lack of communication.
You need to tell each what works.
Cool?
Cool!

In other news, I was reading some ob/gyn stuff recently and saw some interesting stuff about infertility and we also talked about those very, very interesting stats today.

Nigeria is a male dominated society, no doubt about it. So of course when a couple hasn't had kids within 2 years of marriage everyone starts harassing the woman. They won't let her drink water and put cup down. My cousin was telling me how his mom has said she's not coming to his house until his wife has a baby. He just finished building a freaking mansion in Lekki, yet e mama no gree come. People never marry finish, people are already talking about when are you having a baby.

I watched a video over the christmas break of a woman who had gone to a pastor for infertility issues and as part of her deliverance or whatever you want to call it, he had to f*ck her (sorry for being so crass, but that's just the best way to describe what i saw). He was literally having sex with her while shouting "power, power" or some bull shit, which she was shouting back. Unprotected sex might i add. This man was butt naked, in some illicit location, sticking his penis into somebody else's wife all in the name of deliverance from infertility. My heart hurt just watching that and i thought of countless women who have gone through that. She gets pregnant, she would thank the pastor profusely and thank God for her "miracle". Who is the baby for? Her husband or the pastor? This is just one of the many reasons why i am so against the Nigerian version of Christianity. God has many things to judge when he comes.

Anyway, just so you guys know if you didn't already, 50% of infertility is caused by the MAN and by infertility i mean a couple who has been trying to have a child while having unprotected sex for at least a year. Anything under a year, does not qualify as infertility and the only time they would do a work up before a year is if the female is 35 and older because time is running out for her. Anyhoo, 30% of infertility is caused by the female and the most common cause of this is pelvic inflammatory disease. Chlamydia (which is an STI) is the  main cause of this, and if i remember correctly, sometimes you don't even have symptoms, but it ends up scaring your fallopian tubes leading to infertility in the future. The recommendation now is not to bother doing routine testing for Chlamydia above age 26, because by that time you are less likely to be infected by it due to changes in your vaginal lining. Less than 26, chlamydia still likes you and your vagina :) (It has to do with the type of cells that line your vagina which changes by the time you are 26, for most females). Regardless, if you have been having unprotected sex, you should always get tested for STI's and don't leave anything to chance.

The remaining 20% is due to miscellaneous causes. But the main point is 50% of infertility is caused by men, so believe it or not, when a couple is getting worked up for infertility, they check the man first (or at least that's the correct answer on the boards).

This is just an FYI.

Good night.

My stress is 100/100 at the moment. I can't believe i can still blog.

TELL HIM

HE'S important. He matters. That he's needed. He's appreciated. He's doing a good job. Tell him not to give up. To keep going. That You believe in him. That you trust him. That he still turns you on. Tell him he's handsome. That he's wonderful. He's special. He's chosen. That he has a purpose. That he's blessed. Tell him how lucky you are. Root for him. Pray for him. Say good things about him. Do good things for him. Listen to him. Cook for him. Pay attention to him. Look good for him. Help him. Push him. Encourage him. Stand by him. Defend him. Talk dirty to him. Laugh with him. Blow his mind in bed. Help him make more money. Protect his dreams. Give him space to grow. Nurture him. Love his children, yours or not. Honor his mother. Dont argue. Talk to him in a sweet & kind voice. Keep the house clean. Be understanding. Have realistic expectations of him. Let him lead. Accept his flaws. Praise his strengths. Respect him. Be his friend. Grow with him. Enjoy life with him. Bring out the best in him. Teach him how to love you... By YOU loving YOU!!!

If he doesn't deserve any of that *LEAVE HIM* because you deserve to give that to someone. When you do, that is what's given to you.....

Bloggers I dislike

Amebo!
I bet you would like to know
LOL
There are none, really.

HOWEVER,
there are a couple of blogs i can't stand because of their template.
The color, the arrangement or lack of
I am a little OCD.
I like things symmetrical and orderly.

Actually, this post was supposed to be a joke, but now that i think about it,
there is A blogger i can't stand,
with his pompous self righteous ass.
Urgh!

P.S Did you guys really think i was crazy enough to list bloggers i don't like? My days of wahalaing are over o. I'm a peace loving person these days. LOL.... Well, for the most part :)

As for the blogger i can't stand, most people seem to like him, because he goes around calling people ma, acting all respectful and being religious. Yet, some of the comments i have seen out of him, make me want to strangle him and have nothing to do with Christianity. You shouldn't need a soothsayer to figure out who i am referring to.

Make up sex

Guys!

I just found out today the reason why make up sex is the best and why girls like bad guys. It is such a blessing when you are lucky enough to meet someone who can actually show you what medicine is all about, and your eyes are opened and you are now able to see patterns and make connections that you would never have been able to make. It all boils that to physiology. The dreaded physio that I hated so much and barely passed in first year.

It is amazing, you guys. I am learning so much. I am starting to have hope that I might actually end up being a good doctor with something in my head. Instead of just memorizing stuff.

Back to make up sex and why girls like bad guys, Now I would like to break it down for u guys, but you would just have to wait. Got shit to do. Not supposed to have even blogged today, but it's going to be good when you hear it. Our brain is amazing, you guys.
