Blogsville

Disillusionment, disgust, dishonesty, disappointment.

UPDATE: This has nothing to do with fatbusters. If it did, i would have written it on that blog. Anyhoo, i was just in a pissy mood yesterday and if i had written what was on my mind, u guys would have met a full blown rant on here, instead of those "innocent" four words. I know it's not that serious, so i settled for those words instead of getting on the offensive over something that is not important.

Question: If u read something from a blogger u like that u don't approve of, do u ignore that post and don't bother commenting or pretend like u agree with that they are saying? For instance, if i put up a picture of butt ugly shoes and profess my undying love for that pair of shoes, would u tell me u love the shoes also, or would u say the shoe is ugly?

What i have noticed around blogsville for a long time now, is that people would not straight up say the shoes is ugly. Same goes for a lot of other things.

  4. Haba! This early Monday morning? What happened nowwwwwww? You can't drop four words and bounce like that? (Well you can, it's your blog). Like QMoney said, I hope it's not in Fatbusters, even though this sounds way more serious that Fatbusters.

  5. New posts at Ruffin’ It and BAMBINA. We have a BAMBINA contributor, y'all. A dude!!! He is sharing his story of how he 'cornered' his woman & got her pregnant!! Tomorrow, Brown Girl will be sharing her antenatal experience & more. Be sure to drop by again. Plus, new contributors are still being sought, so feel free to add your own story. Visit http://idreamtofu.blogspot.com for details on how.

  8. Hmmm I feel you somehow. Sometimes, I'd rather not comment that tell the person something that itsnt true, that way I dont incur the person's wrath

RE: Fatbusters...my apologies. This is my first time on blogger in the last 2 weeks (LONG ASS STORY)...my sincere apologies.

I see you are not in the best of mooods...
    Take it easy

  10. I'm a firm believer in "if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all"; but that also goes only too far before you're forced to say something. With blogsville, the friendships are not the same as your real life friends, so in these instances, you kinda have to thread lightly. If it were one of my personal friends rocking some ugly ass shoes, best believe she'll hear about it!

  14. I believe in just ignoring the post if you haven't got anything to say and to say something when you do.

  15. Yea, as for me, i usually just read and move on, except there is a burning in my soul (lol) to correct someone, but hey, it's their blog and their opinion and they are entitled to it. I don't however think anyone is under obligation to leave a nice comment though and i take all comments as they are, for example, when u said my shoes were ugly!!!
    But i still love u.......maybe....

  16. ...kiloshele... wetin happen, osigini (eer not sure I got that right! lol). But what happened... who vex you oh, wey dem, who dem?

well if one does not like something on a blog, the best thing to do is not to comment on the post. Saves a whole lot of hassle in the first place, and so as not to lie... and if a person does comment, they should just say what their opinion is.. everyone is right to an opinion... That's what makes us all different and interesting I guess.. But please no get too upset eh, whatever it might be? pele

  17. I think you should say if you disagree. I don't think the blogger will hate you for it, and it's the way you feel. The way you feel about one issue doesn't mean that everything between you and that person is destroyed.

Love is coming to see an imperfect person perfectly. The same goes for blogs ;)

We might not always like what we read, but we are free to disagree, and noone hates you for it.

    So go on and disagree

  18. I try to always be as honest as possible but avoid any conflict. Don't want that!

  19. so true
i personally look at the ugly shoes and ignore them in most situations

    y?
cuz i feel like even tho blogville is like life we don't know the whole story we don't know the whole person so yeah it might seem out of character but do i really know the person's character or just the side that blogville shows

now if it is question or some theological issue i might dabble and express my dissent but when it comes to their life i'm silent

  20. What a great question, stingerella!

If I read something that I disagree with and feel like I can make my point in a way that will be understood, I'll speak up. Otherwise I'll let my lack of a comment speak for me.

I try not to spread negativity online, so if I think all I have to say is something along the lines of "You are so wrong/This idea is dumb", I won't say anything. If I think I can respectfully disagree, I'll try.

Sometimes too I'll email the blogger about the matter privately rather than trying to discuss it through blog comments.

  23. Sugabelly is right. You do not have to say nice things only. When you do not agree with something someone says, say it , not rudely tho. Who knows, you may teach the person something new by writing your opinion. If you can blog it then be prepared to take what comes with it. Once you put yourself in public then get ready for what comes at you. We agree to disagree! :=)
